Doodle 4 Google Competitions 2012 Student Entries

This is the second year Geetarts Students participated in Doodle 4 Google 2012 competition. This is the contest where google invites students in US to use their artistic skills to think big and redesign google logo around a theme. This year’s theme was ‘ If I could travel in time, I’d visit…’. This theme was quite challenging to express the past, present and future in a 6 letter google logo. Geetart students took this challenge with great enthusiasium and were successful in bringing out their creative imaginations in very impressive way.  Way to go my students and I always have pride in your artistic skills… Check out their work in the presentation and enjoy various creative ideas…

“Build Path to a Better World”

“I look out of my door and think to myself I want to bring change by converging hope,peace,unity,health,good education and love together to form an utopia.I can visualize this beautiful utopia that we could live in and by keeping Mother Teresa as my idol,I know I can bring change to the world some day”

'Build a Path to Better World"

Niharika is mature in her ideas and has a creativity to look at the nature in a different perspective. She has amazing talent and art skills which helps her to present her creativity in an unique way. When I asked her to work on google project, she came up with an idea, basically a dream of her according to her mom to become a doctor and help mankind to build a path to better world- which I think is outstanding thinking and very much needed in today’s world. Her logo presents-” a dove as a symbol of hope, peace symbol, world holding hands for unity, stethoscope for health, pencil for education, and love “  combined is a path to choose to build a better personality, better society, better mankind and better world….. great dream Niharika. It has been awarded as ” OUTSTANDING EFFORT AND AMAZING WORK “ at our google party

“Create my own Video Game”

” What I want to do someday is create my own video game. Ever since I was a little boy I was facinated by video games. I always wondered and liked how one can control the game to your liking. That drives me to a thought to create my own video game some day”

"To Create a Video Game"

Prathik, since child hood was very facinated by mind games like puzzles, chess and video games. He is very good at drawing and a critic of my artwork. When I asked him to participate in this competition, he drew many ideas which included “working at google” etc. Finally he finalized the above idea which presents the logo with gaming symbols. He has done an excellent job and I like the letters “g, G” which compliments his logo work. Great job Prathik and I wish you continue to be my critic of my artwork. It has been awarded as ” COOL and EXCELLENT ARTWORK“ at our google party

“Save The Environment, Stop Global Warming”

“What I would like to do someday is save the environment and stop global warming. The whole world is getting polluted by factories, pollution and exhaust fumes.  To stop this I would encourage use public transportation, solar and wind power, planting trees on Earth, using eco-friendly devices and recycling”

Neha has excellent artistic abilities and very talented. She is very enthusiatic to learn, apply new techniques using different mediums and always is associated with art some way or other. She is the first one, to initiate to prticipate in google competition and started the project working independently. I was very pleased to see her work and the approach on her idea to form google logo. Presenting  two valuable  messages in a google logo is not an easy task, Neha did this perfectly and I appreciate her for conveying these messages the right way. Neha is very active participant in art and art activities in her school art club too. Great going Neha, Keep up the good art work. It has been awarded as “MOST INFORMATIVE AND EXCELLENT ARTWORK” at our google party.
